Junior Academy 2026 — Zurich, Switzerland
From 12 to 16 October 2026 Mykola took part in the Junior Academy 2026 of the Verein Loc.Artium at the Muraltengut in Zurich — a course in Renaissance, Baroque and Classical repertoire under the artistic direction of the recorder virtuoso Maurice Steger. Mykola worked with Steger and the Baroque violinist Fiorenza De Donatis; the faculty also included Marc Bonastre (oboe and Baroque oboe) and Sergio Flores (harpsichord and accompaniment). Solo lessons were complemented by chamber music and ensemble playing as well as workshops on improvisation, ornamentation and historical performance practice. The academy closed at the Muraltengut with a final concert on 16 October, in which Mykola played Bach’s Sonata No. 3 and, in the chamber ensemble, Fasch’s Violin Concerto in D major.
