5th International Tartini Competition
At the 5th International Tartini Competition (Piran, Slovenia, 28–31 May 2026) Mykola won First Prize in Violin, 3rd Category, with 99.25 points — and the special prize BAROCCO EUROPEO – FEMART 2027: a concert with Tartini repertoire within the Barocco Europeo 2027 season in Italy, together with the ensemble Cenacolo Musicale.
Facts
- In Mykola’s category (3rd), 26 young violinists from 9 countries took part.
- Across all six violin categories, 99 young violinists from 16 countries took part.
- Mykola’s 99.25 points were the second-highest overall score of the entire violin competition — after the Grand Prix winner Viktorya Ulikhanyan (5th category, 100.00).
- Both of these top results came from the same class: Viktorya Ulikhanyan and Mykola both study with Vladyslava Luchenko.
- Jury president of the category: Tommaso Luison (Italy). Organized by Koper Music School, Rotary Club Portorož and the Municipality of Piran.
